Dine & Dialouge: Authenticity in STEM - Let's talk about it ft. Dr. Clarissa Do Ó

During this Dine & Dialogue, we will be joined by a Caltech Postdoc, Dr. Clarissa Do Ó, who will share her experiences navigating what it means to "look like" a scientist, and how she learned to show up as my authentic self. Growing up in Brazil, she often felt intimidated by not fitting the stereotypical image of a scientist we usually see on TV. Join us for a talk about shifting perspectives and the importance of building a supportive scientific community that encourages people to show up as their authentic selves. Dinner will be provided, while supplies last. This event is open to all Caltech undergrads, grads, and postdocs.
